Our little Lydia is 9months..shes actually closer to 10 months now but she was in the hospital at 9 months and I was going to have her picture taken but everything go pushed back! So hopefully by 12 months i'll get my act together! Lydia weighs 13lbs 4oz and is 25.25" long. She is still not on the charts for her weight. She is our tiny little peanut.Nicknames we have for her our....Little Lyida, Little Liddie, peanut, Lydiebug, Stinky, kittycat, Ydia (thats what Cameron calls her because he has problems with his Ls!)
She makes the mmm sound and everytime she does I try to tell Ryan shes trying to say mom! She loves her big brother...with a passion! Where ever he is in the room shes always looking for him. She laughs when he gives her kisses and she tries to immitate him! He makes this spitting noise with his tongue all the time and shes been trying to copy him! So cute!!
Since she was born shes had trouble eating and swallowing and aspirating her bottles into her lungs. Until she was 9months we could just thinken the bottles with rice cereal but she got worse and was aspirating that so they tied to do a feeding tube down her nose, but she chocked on it to bad, after 4 trys and some crying from me and Lydia! They decided they would have to do the g-tube in her tummy. Shes taken to very well and she still hasn't gained a ton of weight but its only been a few weeks so hopefully shell get bigger, she needs it!
She still can't sit up all the way, but we have a physical therapist working with her so hopefully by the time shes 1! She can get up on her knees and rocks but still now crawling, but the rate shes going she might do that first!!
We love our Little Lydiebug and although shes quite the handful we are greatful for her so much!
