Gingerbread Houses!

So on Tuesday all the Monroes plus a few friends got together to make gingerbread houses!! We had so much fun! All the houses turned out sooo cute, ok some better than others! Braden's friend Jeremy came and built a ski lodge, we all decided he is not allowed to come next year!

SO this year Lindsay made a kit...I think thats how Im going to do it next year, I like the decorating part..not so much the building part!

Ryans...his reminded me of Merlins home in Sword in the stone!

Ha Braden won for most frosting used!

Everyone said mine looked like a space ship...I don't think so maybe more like an adobe house! I had the best fence! I liked Britts, she usually goes all out but she wasn't feeling that great this year.

Last but certainly not least, Bobs, he won for getting done the quickest! SO much fun guys...Im going to win next year!

Christmas Bunco!

Let it Rain, Let it Rain, Let it Rain!!

So this weekend and week have been COLD!!!! So this weekend Ryan and I were so cold we thought it would be fun to start up the old fire place!! It was so Fun and warm!! I didn't think it was ever going to get cool enough this winter!! So after sitting in front of the fire place with my peppermint hot chocolate and sweatshirt...it finally feels like Christmas!

Tradition Dinner

So once a month on Friday sometimes Saturday all the "Monroes" get together and have dinner. THe point of it is to get together see everyone and try something new. The get together is self explanitory but the try something new is every month a different person gets to pick and it has to be a resturant that nobody (or maybe 1 person) has been too, thus something new! WEll this month is was Ryans turn to pick...everybody is trying to save there pennies so we can buy Christmas gifts....so we had BYOD (bring your own dinner!) at my house this month! It was so much fun!! We all ate KFC, yes it wasnt something new, then we had a Christmas thought (thanks mom!) then we played DVD clue, I won!!! (thanks Ryan!) then we played Killer bunnies...yay Linny!!! It was a good time!!! Yes even though technically Erin and Jeramy aren't Monroes they were for that evening! They came with the house!!! Plus it was fun having them there but they ditched out early so they could go to a play!! Thanks everybody Tradition dinner was fun as usual...heres some fun pics of it. (yes mainly of Tate, but hes so cute!!!)

I just wanted to tell everybody Happy Thanks giving!! I hope everybody has a great day with lots of yummy food!! Im going to start my baking early..today!! Im going to make a cake (Iknow not pie, but Tarwaters prefer cake!) and Im making a peanut parfait, pumpkin muffins and then tomorrow the real cooking and baking start, its just a warm up today!! Eat lots of food and have lots of fun! Love you all,

Holiday Boutiques!!

I love the Holidays, bc of Family and Thanksgiving, no work, Christmas Lights and Christmas baking and who can forget Christmas shopping!!! I love shopping, especially for presents for other people!! Its my favorite thing!! So this weekend I went to this Holiday Boutique called the Kandy Kane Castle boutique!! I love shopping at boutiques! There are so many coming up, I plan on hitting all of them!! Whos with me!?!! I bought the cutest wall hanging tile and could have spent alot more but I have alot more boutiques to hit and alot of days before Christmas!

Kandy Kane Castle is going on again this weekend, THursday, Friday, and Saturday. Its in East Mesa! The next one that I am really excited about is the Holiday Magic Boutique! It is November 30th and December 2nd in Gilbert!! They have everything!! Then there is the Briar Patch Marketplace, they move there location everytime, there next one is in Scottsdale right after Thanksgiving, but Ill be going to The one at Mesquite High school on December 8! Plus we can't forget Rustic Hutch, its always there, but they brought out there Christmas stuff!! Its one of my favorites, I want one of everything!! Im going to love shopping for gifts this year!!!
